Anthropic released Claude 2 with a 100K context window and broader public access in the United States and United Kingdom. Long documents became one of Claude's clearest advantages.

The part that stood out to me was not one benchmark. It was the simple fact that an entire book or codebase could fit inside one conversation. That changed the kinds of work people expected a chatbot to hold together.
