Anthropic releases Claude 2.1

Claude 2.1 doubled context to 200K tokens and added early tool use, system prompts, and a new Workbench.

Claude 2.1 pushed the context window to 200K tokens and introduced beta tool use. Anthropic also added system prompts and a Workbench for developers.

This was less about a dramatic new interface and more about making Claude controllable enough for real workflows. Long context was becoming infrastructure, not a novelty.
