OpenAI releases the Agents SDK
The new SDK added orchestration, handoffs, guardrails, and tracing for agent workflows.
OpenAI released the Agents SDK alongside Responses. Handoffs and tracing sound like plumbing, but this is the plumbing agent products need before they can be trusted outside a demo.
